Riders out with Lee Walters

Meet Lee

Lee Walters.

The person you ride with. Social days with mates at Baskerville Hall. Training if you want it.

CFMOTO

Days at Hay are on the CFMOTO 450MT, or your own adventure bike. Four on the UK fleet.

The 450s

Who he is

On the ground with you.

Lee Walters has been teaching people to ride off-road at Baskerville Hall, Hay-on-Wye, for more than a decade. He is on the ground with you. You WhatsApp him. He runs the day.

Most people come with mates. That is the point. Ride a CFMOTO 450 from the fleet, or bring your own. Off-road on the private ground does not need a motorcycle licence. Road riding does.

Training is there if you want it: body position, throttle, brakes, ruts, standing work. Groups or one-to-one. Some riders are getting ready for hard enduro. Plenty just want to feel more sure of themselves on dirt. He has also run training days in Romania and Israel.

The dirt

He has done the hard days too.

He has ridden Red Bull Romaniacs himself, more than once. He raced a BMW 650 at Baja GB, and rode the international Baja. He was class runner-up at the Hafren Rally. For years the work was enduro and big trail bikes: people who wanted to get better on dirt.

That is the background. The days at Hay now are mostly social. Lanes, roads, you choose, then the hall if you are staying. If you want the harder going, he still does that.

The place

Baskerville Hall, 130 acres.

The school sits at Clyro, a mile from Hay-on-Wye. Private ground for off-road work, and the country around it for a proper loop. Rooms and camping are at the hall, booked with them. The riding is booked here.

Spain is with Dust Devils in Andalucía. Matching CFMOTO 450s at Coín. Enquire on this site, or message him.
